Hosting the Perfect Vision Board Galentine’s Party
Galentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to get your favorite girls together for a night of creativity, good food, and goal-setting. This year, I hosted a Vision Board Galentine’s Party, and it was everything I hoped for: cozy, inspiring, and wholesome. If you’re thinking about hosting one, here’s a breakdown of everything you need to plan the perfect night.

Prep & Decor
Creating the right atmosphere for a vision board party is key! Here’s how I set the vibe:
- Color Scheme: Stuck to soft pinks, reds, and neutrals for a warm, inviting feel.
- Mood Lighting: Candles, fairy lights, and a few fresh flowers added to the cozy ambiance.
- Background Music: A mix of chill, empowering, and feel-good songs to keep the energy up.
- Photo Moment: A backdrop with heart-themed decorations or these custom word balloons for some IG worthy moments!
Some Quick Reminders for Guests:
For this party, I wanted everyone to feel comfortable and cozy. I asked my guests to wear any Valentine’s Day themed pajamas (pink, red, white, hearts, etc.) To make sure we had plenty of inspiration, I had each guest bring three magazines of their choice. These could be from the store, vision board inspired books from Amazon, printed pictures, or personal keepsakes.
Other than that, I took care of everything else! Canvas, scissors, stickers, tape, glue, glitter, snacks, and drinks—all set up and ready to go so my guests could just focus on the fun.

Vision Board Step-by-Step Guide
On to the main event! Here’s how we created our vision boards:
- Set Your Intention: Take a moment to visualize where you want to be one year from now. We all shared our personal goals, which helped us focus and align our visions. Taking this step is key, it lays the foundation for your vision board, making sure it’s intentional and not just a random collage.
- Choose a Word of the Year: Pick a word that will ground you and guide your vision.
- Divide Your Board into 4 Quadrants:
- Goals: What do you want to achieve in the next year?
- Experiences: Travel, events, and personal milestones.
- Skills: Areas you want to grow in and new things to learn.
- Habits: The daily actions that will help shape your best life.
- Gather & Arrange: Cut out images, quotes, and affirmations that align with your goals.
- Glue & Personalize: Add stickers, doodles, or anything else that makes your vision board feel uniquely yours.
