Rooms & Suites
We stayed in a Junior Suite with a private plunge pool.
The room included:
• Large bedroom and sitting area
• Huge bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in shower
• Massive closet space
• Outdoor plunge pool patio
The suite does not have a separate bedroom, but it still felt very spacious.
During nap time we could still relax outside without leaving the room, which made the trip feel much more like a vacation for us too.

If you’re traveling with multiple kids, the Junior Family Suite is a great option.
Our friends stayed in this room and it included:

• Outdoor hammock
• Private plunge pool
It gave their kids their own sleeping space which was really nice.

- We requested a pack and play ahead of time, which the resort had ready in the room

- The property is very stroller friendly
- We made sure to pack some water toys, pool floats, and beach toys to keep out toddler entertained

Food & Restaurants
The resort has 10+ restaurants included in the all-inclusive. Overall, the food was average and we spent most of our time eating at the buffet.
Kid-Friendly Restaurants
One thing that truly stood out about Finest Punta Cana was that many of the restaurants had dedicated playrooms for kids.
These were glass-enclosed spaces right next to the dining area with toys, games, and staff supervising the kids while parents ate. It made meals with toddlers feel surprisingly relaxed.
Some of the main restaurants include:
• Lizo (Mexican) (Our personal favorite)
• Shoji (Japanese / Hibachi)
• Brass Steakhouse
• Duke’s Lobster & Seafood
• Dommo (Mediterranean)
Tips
Make your reservations for the restaurant ahead of time especially for the hibachi show. The wait times for some of these restaurants during prime dinner time were over an hour wait.
The Café Market (Hidden Gem)
The coffee shop / café market was one of the most convenient spots in the entire resort.
They had:
• Fresh pressed juices
• Smoothies
• Coffee drinks
• Sandwiches to go
• Ice cream
• Snacks for kids
Perfect for quick breakfasts or grabbing something before heading to the pool.
There are also food trucks throughout the resort, which make it really easy to grab something quick without committing to a full meal.

Pools & Water Areas
There are multiple pools throughout the resort, and surprisingly they never felt crowded.
The Kids Pool
The kids pool has a giant floating blue blob that kids jump off of into the water. It ended up being the most popular activity for the kids.
Splash Pad
There’s also a splash pad with sprinklers where toddlers can run around.
Main Pool
The main pool includes:
• Swim up bar
• Pool games and activities

The Finest Kids Club is one of the most impressive parts of the resort.

Entertainment
Evenings were really fun for families.
There were:

The atmosphere felt lively but still very family friendly.

The Beach
The beach itself is beautiful with soft sand and plenty of seating.
When we visited in March, it was windy and the water was a bit rough, so we didn’t swim much in the ocean.
But it was still great for relaxing and letting kids play in the sand.
Spa Tip
We did massages at the resort spa, which were nice but expensive.
You can often find much cheaper massages right on the beach, so that’s something to consider.
